Thanksgiving Lunch

On Thursday, November 20th, the cafeteria will serve a Thanksgiving lunch to students who opt for a school lunch. You are invited to join us for lunch that day. The cost of an adult meal is $2.75 and must be paid in cash. Also, due to the number of visitors expected our lunch time has changed slightly. We will be at lunch from 12:15 – 12:40 that day.

Writes Upon Request

Students have been busy preparing for our next Writes Upon Request which will be administered on Wednesday, November 19th. Please encourage your child to read the prompt carefully and to remember to add details to his/her writing. Several parents have asked about practice prompts. I have included a couple on the back of this newsletter to be used at your discretion or not at all.  I do not expect practice essays to be turned in.

Fall Festival

I hope to see many of you at the Fall Festival next Friday. Our class is in charge of the marble painting booth. Angie Pichard is in charge of our booth and would probably love to have more volunteers. She is also asking for donations of supplies or funds for supplies. You may contact her at 443-3944.
