Classroom Expectations
-
Each students has the right to work
in a quiet, orderly environment. Students move about the classroom
quietly and use quiet voices when talking to others.

Each student will complete daily
assignments and turn them in at the end of the day. Any assignments
not completed may be completed at home after checking with Mrs. Homme.

When students complete work, they
are responsible for using time wisely. Independent reading should be
the main focus of this "extra" time.

Students will treat each other
respectfully. No put-downs of any kind are allowed.

Students will keep their materials
organized and their work areas orderly.

Students are responsible for
bringing their Fox File to school each day.
Homework Expectations
-
Students will receive Sunshine Math,
Spelling Review sheet,
and a new reading log on Friday in their Weekly Report packet. These
are to be turned in the following Friday.

Math teachers will assign homework on
Monday and Wednesday. Reading teachers will assign homework on Tuesday.
Homeroom teachers will assign homework on Thursday. This homework should
be turned in the following day.

Students will read 20 minutes per
night and will document this reading in the reading log.

Part of homework is studying for
tests. Spelling tests are given on Fridays. Other tests will be
announced at least a week in advance.

Occasionally, a project will be
assigned for home completion. Students will be given at least two
weeks to complete a project.
